Prudential Plc executes share buyback program on London Exchange

Prudential Plc (HKEX:2378) announced today that it has purchased 260,000 of its own ordinary shares at a range of GBP7.4580 to GBP7.6240, with an average price of GBP7.5650. The transactions were executed through Barclays Capital Securities Limited. The company intends to cancel the purchased shares. Following the buyback, the total number of Prudential shares in issue will be 2,609,517,013. The buyback was conducted in accordance with the shareholder authority granted at the 2024 Annual General Meeting and the agreement with Barclays announced on December 5, 2024.
