China Southern Airlines reports increased passenger traffic in March

China Southern Airlines (HKEX:1055) today announced its key operating data for March 2025, revealing a 3.07% increase in passenger capacity (ASK) compared to the same period last year. Passenger traffic (RPK) grew by 6.08%, with significant contributions from international routes, which saw a 25.54% increase. Domestic passenger capacity saw a decrease of 3.15% YoY, while international routes surged by 25.46%. The passenger load factor reached 84.74%, a 2.40 percentage point increase year-on-year. Cargo capacity (ATK - Cargo and Mail) also increased by 2.82%, with cargo and mail traffic (RTK - Cargo and Mail) up by 5.45%. During the month, the airline added 13 aircraft to its fleet and removed four, bringing the total operational fleet to 932. The airline also launched a new Haikou-Nanjing-Haikou route.
