China Hongqiao Group repurchases shares, cancels 57.25m shares

China Hongqiao Group Limited (HKEX:1378) announced a change in its issued shares, as detailed in a Next Day Disclosure Return. On April 14, 2025, the company cancelled 57,253,000 repurchased shares, which represents 0.6% of existing shares before the event. The shares were repurchased at an average price of HKD 15.3625. As a result, the total number of issued shares, excluding treasury shares, now stands at 9,406,635,925. Additionally, the company reported a repurchase of 3,303,500 shares at an average price of HKD 13.38 on the Exchange. The total number of shares repurchased on the Exchange is 78,411,500. China Hongqiao confirms that the repurchases are in accordance with Exchange rules.
