BOC Aviation reports strong aircraft demand in Q1 2025

BOC Aviation (HKEX:2588) announced its operational data for the first quarter ended March 31, 2025, highlighting strong performance and expansion. Aircraft utilization reached 100% for the quarter, a five-year high, reflecting continued robust demand. The company added 125 new aircraft commitments, bringing its total order book to a record 346 aircraft. As of March 31, 2025, BOC Aviation's total portfolio comprised 829 aircraft and engines owned, managed, and on order. The owned fleet of 442 aircraft had an average age of 5.1 years and an average remaining lease term of 7.9 years, with an additional 32 aircraft managed. The company executed 158 transactions in Q1 2025, including 11 aircraft deliveries and the sale of four owned aircraft and one engine. BOC Aviation also raised US$500 million through three-year bonds at a 4.750% coupon. The company serves 93 airlines across 48 countries and regions.
