Peijia Medical receives NMPA approval for YonFlow stent

Peijia Medical Limited announced that its YonFlow® Flow Diverting Stent has received approval from China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) for its registration application. This voluntary announcement highlights a significant milestone for the company, as the stent, developed by Jiangsu NowYon Medical Limited, is the first flow diverting stent system globally that can be retrieved after complete release, allowing precise device control during procedures. Peijia Medical had previously announced an exclusive distribution agreement with NowYon Medical in August 2024, granting it rights to sell and distribute the YonFlow® stent within the Greater China region. The company cautions that it may not ultimately be able to successfully market the YonFlow® stent, and advises shareholders and potential investors to exercise due care when dealing in the shares of the company.
