BYD resubmits monthly report, H shares increase by 129.8m

BYD Company Limited [HKEX:1211] resubmitted its monthly report detailing movements in securities for the month ended March 31, 2025, revealing an increase of 129.8 million in its issued H shares. This increase stems from a placing agreement dated March 3, 2025. Following this change, BYD's total authorized/registered share capital stands at RMB 3,039,065,855. The number of authorized ordinary H shares increased from 1,098,000,000 to 1,227,800,000. Separately, the company holds 2,204,410 A shares as treasury shares related to its Employee Share Ownership Plan. The total number of authorised ordinary A shares remain unchanged at 1,811,265,855.
