Guotai Haitong appoints new board, name change complete

Guotai Haitong Securities Co., Ltd. (HKEX: 2611) has announced the election of its new board of directors for the seventh session, effective April 3, 2025. Zhu Jian has been appointed Chairman, Zhou Jie as Vice Chairman and Li Junjie as President. The board consists of 18 directors, including three executive, eight non-executive, six independent non-executive directors and one employee director. The company has also finalized its name change from Guotai Junan Securities Co., Ltd. to Guotai Haitong Securities Co., Ltd. The registered capital has been adjusted from RMB8,903,730,620 to RMB17,629,708,696. Independent non-executive directors will receive an annual fee of RMB300,000, while non-executive directors receive RMB150,000, with additional allowances for committee chairpersons and members.
