Mengniu Dairy announces director resignation and new appointment

China Mengniu Dairy Company Limited (HKEX: 2319) announced the resignation of non-executive director Simon Dominic Stevens, effective April 1, 2025. Stevens, who served as chairman of the Sustainability Committee and a member of the Nomination and Strategy and Development Committees, stepped down to dedicate more time to personal commitments. Simultaneously, the company appointed Lillie Li Valeur as a non-executive director, also effective April 1, 2025. Valeur will assume the role of chairman of the Sustainability Committee and become a member of the Nomination and Strategy and Development Committees. Valeur, aged 55, currently serves as Executive Vice President of International at Arla Foods. Arla Foods amba is a substantial shareholder of Mengniu Dairy with approximately 24.3% share. Valeur's directorship will be subject to retirement and re-election.
