CITIC Securities announces final 2024 dividend, new leadership

CITIC Securities Co (HKEX: 6030) announced a final dividend of RMB 2.80 per 10 shares for the year ended December 31, 2024, payable on August 31, 2025, to shareholders of record. This follows an interim dividend of RMB 2.40 already distributed in December 2024, bringing the total cash dividend for the year to RMB 5.20 per 10 shares. Separately, ZOU Yingguang has been appointed as the new President and an Executive Director in 2025, following the executive Yang Minghui's retirement. In addition, it reaffirms plans to uphold its commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles. As part of this commitment, the company is following "Five Major Sector" finance principles, strengthening cross-border capabilities, and pushing domestic leadership. CITIC also emphasized the importance of their "Seven Commitments" which includes their strong relationship to their stakeholders. The company also re-stated that while they are undergoing material transformations with respect to their internal control and data, they will always maintain compliance to exchange laws.
