China Shenhua chairman Lv Zhiren resigns, effective immediately

China Shenhua Energy Company Limited (HKEX:1088) announced the resignation of its Chairman of the Board, Mr. Lv Zhiren, effective immediately on March 24, 2025. Mr. Lv Zhiren is stepping down due to retirement. His resignation includes his positions as Chairman, executive director, and member of various committees, including the Strategy and Investment Committee, Nomination Committee, and Remuneration and Assessment Committee. The company confirms that the resignation meets statutory requirements and will not negatively impact operations. Following Lv Zhiren's departure, Zhang Changyan has been appointed as the new Authorised Representative. The Board will seek suitable candidates to fill vacancies on the Nomination and Remuneration and Assessment Committees, and further announcements will be made in due course.
