BOC Aviation to sell four Boeing 777-300ER aircraft

BOC Aviation announced a disclosable transaction involving the sale of four Boeing 777-300ER aircraft in a Hong Kong Stock Exchange filing today. The buyer is Thai Airways International, Thailand's national carrier, for which the planes are currently leased. This deal qualifies as a Qualified Aircraft Leasing Activity, the announcement said. The transaction is subject to standard listing rules, with all relevant ratios being less than 25%. As such, it is exempt from circular and shareholders approval. BOC Aviation, which boasts a portfolio of 709 aircraft and engines as of December 31, 2024, confirmed the deal is on normal commercial terms and is in the best interest of the company and shareholders.
