Prudential plc executes share buyback on London exchange

Prudential plc (HKEX:2378) announced today the completion of a share buyback transaction on the London Stock Exchange. The company repurchased 260,000 ordinary shares at prices ranging from GBP 7.6660 to GBP 7.7680, with an average price of GBP 7.7332 per share. The buyback was conducted through Barclays Securities Limited, aligning with shareholder authorization from the 2024 Annual General Meeting and the agreement announced on December 5, 2024. Prudential intends to cancel the purchased shares, reducing the total number of shares in issue to 2,625,907,013, which also represents the total voting rights.
