AAC Technologies reports strong 2024 results, proposes dividend

** AAC Technologies Holdings Inc. (HKEX: 2018) reported a strong financial performance for the year ended December 31, 2024, achieving record total revenue of RMB27.33 billion, a 33.8% increase year-over-year, boosted by substantial contributions from its optics, precision mechanics, and acoustics businesses. Profitability also saw significant growth, with net profit attributable to owners increasing by 142.7% to RMB1.80 billion. The company proposes a final dividend of HK$0.24 per share, a 140% rise from the previous year, reflecting its improved financial standing. The Board plans to hold an annual general meeting on May 22, 2025 and shareholders of record on May 30, 2025 are entitled to the said dividend. The payout will be June 19, 2025. The company also announced the engagement of financial experts for strategic reviews of the Company. Revenue gains from Premium Sound Solutions are a main contributor to growth, as well as expansion into automotive sector.
