Ping An proposes final dividend, sets AGM date

Ping An Insurance (Group) Company of China, Ltd. (HKEX: 2318) announced plans to distribute a final dividend of RMB1.62 (tax inclusive) per share in cash for the year ended December 31, 2024. The proposed distribution is subject to shareholder approval at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled for Tuesday, May 13, 2025. According to company articles, the dividend is denominated in Renminbi (RMB); holders of H shares will have a currency option. The register of H shareholders will be closed from May 6, 2025 to May 13, 2025, and again from May 19 to May 23, 2025. Payment of the final dividend for both H and A shares is expected on Monday, June 30, 2025.
