Meitu annual profit surges, plans dividend payout

Meitu Inc. (HKEX:1357) announced a significant increase in profitability for the year ended December 31, 2024. Net profit attributable to owners of the company surged 112.8% year-over-year to approximately RMB805 million. Adjusted net profit saw a 59.2% increase to around RMB586 million. Revenue climbed 23.9% to RMB3.341 billion, fueled by the company's "Photo, video, and design products" segment, which grew 57.1% to RMB2.086 billion. The company's monthly active users (MAU) reached 266 million in December 2024, a 6.7% increase year-over-year.
