SITC International announces record profit, final dividend for 2024

SITC International Holdings (HKEX: 1308) announced a record profit for the year ended December 31, 2024, alongside a proposed final dividend. Profit increased by 92.9% to US$1,034.3 million, compared to US$536.2 million in 2023. Revenue rose 25.9% to US$3,058.1 million, fueled by a 10.7% increase in container shipping volume and a 15.7% rise in average freight rates. Basic earnings per share reached US$0.39, up from US$0.20 the previous year. The Board proposed a final dividend of HK$1.40 (approximately US$0.18) per share, payable on May 22, 2025, to shareholders of record on May 12, 2025, subject to shareholder approval at the annual general meeting on April 29, 2025.
