China Merchants Securities announces director, supervisor resignations

China Merchants Securities Co., Ltd. (HKEX: 6099) announced the resignation of Mr. LIU Weiwu from his position as a non-executive Director of the Company and member of the Risk Management and Audit Committees, citing retirement. Simultaneously, Mr. MA Yunchun has resigned from his role as a shareholders' representative supervisor due to changes in his work arrangements. Both resignations will take effect once replacements are appointed and approved at the Shareholders' General Meeting. Until then, both Mr. LIU and Mr. MA will continue in their current roles. The company has confirmed no disagreements with either departing member and expressed gratitude for their contributions. China Merchants Securities states it will nominate suitable candidates for both positions and make further announcements in due course.
