Dalian Port subsidiary faces RMB 1.06bn in lawsuits

Liaoning Port Co., Ltd. (HKEX:2880) has announced that its subsidiary, DCT Logistics, is currently facing 11 warehousing-related lawsuits. DCT Logistics is the defendant in eight cases totaling RMB1.06 billion. The company itself is the plaintiff in one case claiming RMB300 million. Several of the cases have progressed through various stages of the legal process, including retrials, appeals, and enforcement verdicts. Management states that, depending on the outcome of current processes, the possible loss exposure in the worst scenario for the Company is approximately RMB180 million. While the lawsuits are ongoing, the company assures investors that it is actively seeking solutions and will provide timely updates on the progress of the litigation.
