China Minsheng Banking Corp. announces director's resignation

China Minsheng Banking Corp., Ltd. (HKEX: 1988) announced the resignation of Director Zhang Hongwei, effective March 15, 2025. According to the announcement, Mr. Zhang's resignation is due to personal health reasons. Mr. Zhang held the positions of vice chairman and director of the ninth session of the Board, as well as being a member of the Strategic Development and Consumer Rights Protection Committee, and the Nomination Committee of the Board. China Minsheng Banking Corp. confirmed that there are no disagreements related to his resignation, nor any matters needing attention from shareholders or creditors. The board expressed gratitude for Mr. Zhang Hongwei's contributions during his tenure. The Executive Directors of the Bank are Mr. Gao Yingxin, Mr. Wang Xiaoyong and Mr. Zhang Juntong; the Non-Executive Directors are Mr. Liu Yonghao, Mr. Shi Yuzhu, Mr. Song Chunfeng, Mr. Zhao Peng and Mr. Liang Xinjie; and the Independent Non-executive Directors are Mr. Qu Xinjiu, Ms. Wen Qiuju, Mr. Song Huanzheng, Mr. Yeung Chi Wai, Jason, Mr. Cheng Fengchao and Mr. Liu Hanxing.
