CITIC Telecom profit drops, final dividend declares amid transformation

CITIC Telecom International Holdings (HKEX: 1883) announced a 26.1% year-on-year decrease in profit attributable to equity shareholders, amounting to HK$910 million for the year ended December 31, 2024. This decline, attributed primarily to decreases in enterprise solutions and messaging service revenues, comes despite increased revenue from mobile and internet services. To reward investors, the board proposed a final dividend of HK12.8 cents per share, bringing the total dividend for the year to HK18.8 cents.
