Cosmo Lady forecasts 180% profit increase for 2024

Cosmo Lady (China) Holdings (HKEX: 2298) issued a positive profit alert, forecasting an approximate 180% increase in profit attributable to owners for the year ending December 31, 2024. This significant growth is compared to RMB42.483 million for the year ended December 31, 2023. The anticipated profit jump stems primarily from successful e-commerce collaborations, leading to increased gross merchandise value of roughly RMB1.1 billion, and resulting in increased market share in the PRC. Furthermore, the company's improved cost control measures and operational efficiency played a key role. The realization of revenue from industrial projects in Guangdong Province also contributed to the positive outlook. The company expects to release full annual results by the end of March 2025.
