JD Logistics posts strong 2024; Deppon results add boost

JD Logistics (HKEX:2618) reported substantial growth in its annual results for the year ended December 31, 2024. Revenue climbed 9.7% year-over-year to RMB182.8 billion, while non-IFRS profit surged 186.8% to RMB7.9 billion. The company attributes this success to its "customer-first" approach, technological innovations in its integrated supply chain services, and improved operational efficiency. A key element contributing to JD Logistics' performance is its subsidiary Deppon Logistics, whose preliminary results for 2024 show an 11.3% increase in revenue and a 15.4% rise in net profit attributable to shareholders. JD Logistics completed the acquisition of Deppon in December. Despite these strong results, the board did not recommend a final dividend for 2024. The company is expanding its global smart supply chain network and enhancing its technology-driven logistics solutions, while also focusing on environmental sustainability and corporate social responsibility.
