China Industrial Securities buys more ORIX Corp notes

China Industrial Securities International Financial Group (HKEX: 6058) announced that its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, CISI Investment, acquired additional notes issued by ORIX Corporation between February 12, 2025, and March 6, 2025. The aggregate principal amount of the notes purchased was US$10.137 million (approximately HK$79.575 million) for a total consideration of roughly US$9.625 million (approximately HK$75.561 million) on the open market. These acquisitions, combined with previous purchases of ORIX Corp notes, trigger a disclosable transaction requirement. The company stated the investments align with its strategy to diversify its portfolio and generate stable returns within acceptable risk levels. The ORIX Corp notes carry a fixed interest rate of 4.00% per annum and mature on April 13, 2032.
