Goldman Sachs reveals derivatives activity in ESR Group shares

According to a filing with the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) of Hong Kong, Goldman Sachs (Asia) L.L.C., acting on behalf of The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. and affiliates, engaged in a series of derivatives transactions involving ESR Group Limited's shares in February 2025. The transactions include entering into derivative contracts relating to 7,200, 15,000, 5,400 and 12,800 reference securities, closing out of a derivative contract relating to 1,800, 800 and 1,400 reference securities and further entering into derivative contracts relating to an additional 234,200 reference securities. The reported transactions resulted in payments totaling over $1,192,000 and altered Goldman Sachs' resultant balance in ESR Group shares to 30,079,200. Goldman Sachs states they are an exempt principal trader connected with the Offeror. Dealings were made for its own account.
