Haitong Securities share exchange: Revised timeline announced

Guotai Junan Securities (2611.HK) and Haitong Securities (6837.HK) have released a revised indicative timeline for their previously announced share exchange. The key dates include the withdrawal of listing of Haitong H Shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and Haitong A Shares on the SSE, both scheduled for March 4, 2025. The H Share Share-Exchange Record Date will be March 3, 2025, with the cancellation of all Haitong H Shares and completion of the H share Share Exchange expected on March 14, 2025. Dealings of the Guotai Junan H Shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange are scheduled to begin on March 17, 2025. The exchange ratio remains at 0.62:1, where one Haitong A Share will be exchanged for 0.62 Guotai Junan A Shares, and one Haitong H Share will be exchanged for 0.62 Guotai Junan H Shares.
