China Bohai Bank completes RMB5bn green bond issue

China Bohai Bank Co., Ltd. (HKEX: 9668) has announced the completion of its issue of green financial bonds. The RMB5 billion bonds, approved at the 2024 first extraordinary general meeting and by the People's Bank of China, are three-year fixed-rate bonds offering a coupon rate of 1.89%. Bookkeeping was filed on February 26, 2025. The proceeds from the issuance will be allocated to green industrial projects as outlined in the Green Bond Endorsed Projects Catalogue (2021 Edition).
