China Shenhua completes Hangjin Energy acquisition

China Shenhua Energy Company Limited (HKEX:1088) announced the completion of its acquisition of 100% equity interest in China Energy Hangjin Energy Co., Ltd. The announcement follows previous disclosures made on January 21, January 24, and February 12, 2025. Hangjin Energy received official notification of the change of registration from the relevant authorities in Hangjin Banner, Inner Mongolia, confirming the completion of industrial and commercial registration modifications. With this acquisition, China Shenhua Energy is now registered as the sole shareholder of Hangjin Energy, holding 100% equity interest. The announcement was made by order of the Board, with Song Jinggang, Chief Financial Officer and Secretary, confirming its release.
