Prudential buys back shares on London Stock Exchange

Prudential plc (HKEX:2378) announced it bought back 260,000 of its ordinary shares on the London Stock Exchange. The purchase was executed through Barclays Securities Limited, in line with shareholder authorization from the 2024 Annual General Meeting. The lowest price paid per share was GBP 7.1460, while the highest was GBP 7.2400, with an average price of GBP 7.1849. Prudential intends to cancel the repurchased shares. Following the transaction, the total number of shares in issue will be 2,635,097,123. The company will have 2,635,097,123 total voting rights.
