BOC Aviation to purchase and lease five Boeing 737-8s

BOC Aviation has entered into an agreement to purchase five Boeing 737-8 aircraft from Boeing, slated for delivery in 2026 and 2027. Simultaneously, the company will lease the aircraft to Arajet S.A., a Dominican Republic-based commercial airline. The transaction qualifies as an aircraft leasing activity. While this deal triggers a disclosure requirement under Listing Rule 14.07, it is exempt from standard announcement and shareholder approval requirements under Listing Rule 14.33C, as it is considered a Qualified Aircraft Leasing Activity. As of December 31, 2024, BOC Aviation's total portfolio consists of 709 owned, managed, or ordered aircraft and engines.
