MGM China reports revenue increase despite slight EBITDAR dip

MGM China Holdings (HKEX: 2282) reported a revenue increase to HK$7.92 billion for the three months ended December 31, 2024, up from HK$7.68 billion in the same period last year. However, adjusted EBITDA decreased slightly to HK$2.13 billion from HK$2.19 billion. Full-year revenue reached HK$31.39 billion, a substantial increase from HK$24.68 billion in 2023, with adjusted EBITDA rising to HK$9.06 billion from HK$7.24 billion. The results, released by MGM Resorts International, indicate a positive trend in overall revenue generation for the Macau-based operator, driven by growth at both MGM Macau and MGM Cotai, though earnings momentum slowed in the final quarter.
