Postal Savings Bank of China shareholders elect new directors

Shareholders of Postal Savings Bank of China Co., Ltd. (HKEX:1658) voted overwhelmingly to elect Mr. Zheng Guoyu as a Non-executive Director and Mr. Yang Yong as an Independent Non-executive Director at the 2025 First Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) held on January 22, 2025. Over 84.7 billion shares, representing 85.5% of the total shares with voting rights, were represented at the meeting. The resolutions for both appointments passed with over 99% of the votes cast. The EGM was chaired by Executive Director Mr. Liu Jianjun, acting on behalf of the Chairman. One of the 14 incumbent directors, Mr. Han Wenbo, was absent due to other commitments. All five incumbent supervisors were present.
