Postal Savings Bank of China announces board appointments

Postal Savings Bank of China Co., Ltd. (HKEX: 1658) announced the upcoming appointments of Mr. Zheng Guoyu as Non-executive Director and Mr. Yang Yong as Independent Non-executive Director. Shareholders will vote on the resolutions at the 2025 First Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM), scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, in Beijing. Mr. Zheng, formerly of Bank of China and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, currently serves at China Post Group Corporation. Mr. Yang is a Certified Public Accountant and professor at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Both appointments are for three-year terms, subject to regulatory approval. Mr. Zheng will not receive remuneration from the Bank, while Mr. Yang's compensation will be determined per the 2019 Annual General Meeting resolution. The H Share register of members will be closed from January 17 to 22, 2025, for the EGM. The Board recommends shareholders vote in favor of both appointments.
