Agricultural Bank of China to hold EGM on capital and board election

Agricultural Bank of China (ABC) will hold its 2025 first extraordinary general meeting (EGM) on January 24, 2025, at 2:50 p.m. in Beijing. Shareholders will vote on two key resolutions. The first is an ordinary resolution to elect Mr. Zhang Qi as an independent non-executive director. The second is a special resolution concerning the issuance quota for capital instruments and total loss-absorbing capacity non-capital bonds. The H share register of members will be closed from January 21 to 24, 2025. H shareholders wishing to attend must deposit transfer documents with Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited by 4:30 p.m. on January 20, 2025. Proxies can be appointed with appropriate documentation submitted by 2:50 p.m. on January 23, 2025. The meeting will utilize both onsite and online voting mechanisms.
