Bank of China declares RMB 1.208 interim dividend

Bank of China (HKEX:3988) has announced an interim dividend of RMB 1.208 per 10 shares for the six months ended June 30, 2024. The dividend will be paid on February 19, 2025, to shareholders of record on January 22, 2025. The ex-dividend date is set for January 13, 2025, with a deadline for transfer document lodgement of January 14, 2025, at 16:30. The dividend will be paid in Hong Kong dollars at an exchange rate of RMB 1 to HKD 1.081050695, equivalent to HKD 1.3059092 per 10 shares. Shareholders with registered addresses outside of mainland China will be subject to withholding tax. The book closure period runs from January 15, 2025 to January 22, 2025.
