Vinacomin - HaLam Coal elects new leadership after board shake-up

Vinacomin - HaLam Coal Joint Stock Company (HLC) held its second extraordinary general meeting of shareholders on November 28, 2025. The meeting approved the dismissal of two board of directors members, Mr. Tran Van Cu and Mr. Dinh Trung Kien, and one supervisory board member, Mr. Luong Xuan Quang, with a 99.99% approval rate from attending shareholders, representing 19,597,480 shares.

Subsequently, the meeting elected Mr. Nguyen Trong Tot and Mr. Bui Thanh Doan as new members of the board of directors, and Mr. Tran Thanh Tung as a new member of the supervisory board for the 2023-2028 term. Mr. Nguyen Trong Tot was elected chairman of the board of directors, and Mr. Tran Thanh Tung was appointed head of the supervisory board. The proposals received an overwhelming 99.99% approval. All resolutions are effective from the date of shareholder approval.
