Petrolimex group boosts stake in Saigon transportation subsidiary

Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) has completed the acquisition of 3,796,755 shares of Petrolimex Saigon Transportation and Service Joint Stock Company (PSC) through a merger agreement dated November 21, 2025. This transaction, valued at 37,967,550,000 VND, was executed outside the stock exchange system, increasing Petrolimex's direct ownership in PSC to 52.73% of the charter capital.

Following the transaction, Petrolimex and its related parties now collectively hold 3,946,953 PSC shares, representing 54.82% of the charter capital. Several key individuals are connected to both Petrolimex and PSC, including Bùi Trung Định, chairman of PSC and a representative of Petrolimex's capital, Nguyễn Xuân Thái, board member and director, and Nguyễn Tiến Nghĩa, board member and deputy director. Định holds no PSC shares, while Thái holds 90,000 shares (1.25%) and Nghĩa holds 60,198 shares (0.84%) prior to this transaction.
