Lam Dong Food reports strong profit growth in first half 2025

Lam Dong Food Joint Stock Company disclosed its audited financial statements for the first six months of 2025, reporting a substantial after-tax profit of VND 621,882,184. This marks a significant turnaround compared to the VND (2,391,603,150) loss in the same period of 2024, representing an increase exceeding 10%. The company’s after-tax profit after audit also increased by 35.4% compared to the published Q2 2025 report, an increase of VND 162.6 million.

The strong performance is attributed to a 27.72% increase in net revenue to VND 4.31 billion in the first half of 2025 compared to the prior year, alongside a 19.35% increase in gross profit, or VND 525 million, largely from the semi-finished products segment. Pre-tax profit also rose by approximately VND 3 billion year-on-year. This growth was bolstered by market recovery, increased demand from tourism and domestic consumption, and efficient business management cost reductions. The company also benefited from additional interest income from savings deposits of VND 97.8 million and VND 64.8 million from rental premises.
