PVChem diversifies operations, expanding into new industrial sectors

PVChem's Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders 2025, held on November 24, 2025, approved a resolution to expand its business activities. This includes wholesale of agricultural and forestry raw materials (excluding wood, bamboo, rattan) and live animals (code 4620), and wholesale of other construction materials and equipment (code 4663). The expansion also covers specialized wholesale not elsewhere classified (code 4669), which includes scrap metal, recycled plastic, bioethanol, CO2, fly ash, and slag.

The company further diversified into wholesale of solid, liquid, and gaseous fuels and related products (code 4661), specifically coal and other solid fuels. This strategic move aims to capitalize on emerging market trends and integrate into broader value chains, aligning with national energy transition and industrial development policies.

The resolution also updates PVChem's registered address to 6th Floor, Vietnam Petroleum Institute Building, 167 Trung Kinh Street, Yen Hoa Ward, Hanoi. All proposals were unanimously approved by shareholders, representing 100% of the voting shares present at the meeting.
