An Giang Port announces leadership changes, amends company charter

An Giang Port Joint-Stock Company (CAG) announced a series of key personnel changes and a revision to its company charter, following an extraordinary meeting of the board of directors on November 17, 2025. The board of directors passed Resolution No. 25/NQ-HĐQT, which included the dismissal of Bui Thanh Hiep from his role as general director and Tran Van Cam from his position as deputy general director, effective November 17, 2025.

Concurrently, the board of directors appointed Nguyen Van Phu as the new deputy general director, effective the same date. Furthermore, Tran Van Cam was re-appointed as chief of the board of directors office. The company's chairman is tasked with completing the necessary procedures and signing the appointment decisions for the new deputy general director responsible for the board of directors.

A significant amendment to Article 3 of the company's charter was also approved, changing the legal representative clause. Previously, the general director was the sole legal representative; the revised clause now states that if the company does not have a general director, the chairman of the board of directors will serve as the legal representative. The board of directors will submit this change for shareholder approval at the upcoming general meeting of shareholders. The board also mandated a review of responsibilities for past errors, to be reported by November 25, 2025.
