Vinacomin – Power Holding reports Q3 2025 profit decline

Vinacomin – Power Holding Corporation reported a significant decline in profit after corporate income tax for the third quarter of 2025. The parent company experienced a VND (5,342,470,702) loss, a 580.60% decrease from the third quarter of 2024. Consolidated profit also fell to VND (2,932,569,344), a 137.08% decrease from the third quarter of 2024. This fluctuation is attributed to a decrease in financial income, primarily due to lower dividend income from investments in other entities.

Additionally, financial expenses in the third quarter of 2025 increased compared to the same period last year. This rise is mainly due to the exchange rate, which saw a slight increase in the third quarter of 2025 compared to a considerable decrease in the third quarter of 2024 relative to the second quarter of 2024. The corporation clarified that the initial submission incorrectly used accumulated figures for the first nine months instead of specific third quarter data for 2025 and 2024.
