PVChem to expand business scope, update headquarters address

PVChem has scheduled its EGM for 8:30 a.m. on November 24, 2025, at the Vietnam Petroleum Institute Building in Hanoi. The meeting will address the addition of new business lines, including wholesale of agricultural and forestry raw materials (excluding wood, bamboo, rattan) and live animals, as well as other construction materials like non-fired bricks and gypsum. The company also plans to expand its specialized wholesale activities to include metallic and non-metallic scraps and waste, recycled plastics, bio-ethanol, carbon dioxide, fly ash, bottom ash, and various solid fuels, including coal. These additions aim to diversify PVChem's portfolio and capitalize on new market trends.

Shareholders will also vote on updating PVChem's registered head office address to the 6th Floor, Vietnam Petroleum Institute Building, 167 Trung Kinh Street, Yen Hoa Ward, Hanoi City. The EGM will further consider amendments to the company's charter on organization and operation to reflect these changes. Shareholders listed on the register as of October 22, 2025, are eligible to attend.

The board of directors is seeking authorization from the general meeting to proceed with amending the enterprise registration and to make any necessary adjustments to business line names and codes as required by state authorities or new legal instruments. This strategic move aligns with the government's energy transition policy and PVN's initiative to strengthen value-chain linkages within the oil and gas industry.
