Post and Telecommunication Equipment reports significant Q3 2025 profit surge

Post and Telecommunication Equipment JSC (POT) reported an 820.2% increase in its Q3 2025 after-tax profit, reaching VND 89,919,623, compared to VND 10,963,661 in Q3 2024. This growth occurred despite a 28.3% decrease in net revenue from sales and services, totaling VND 311,048,766,806 for Q3 2025, down from VND 453,955,402,432 in Q3 2024. The company's cost of goods sold also decreased by 32.5% to VND 291,150,806,394, outpacing the revenue decline.

The significant profit surge was primarily attributed to a 118.3% increase in financial income, reaching VND 23,800,944, and a 792.9% rise in other income to VND 3,776,119,636. While selling expenses rose by 77.5% to VND 6,535,782,180, general and administrative expenses saw a 30.9% reduction to VND 6,165,311,809. As of September 30, 2025, the company’s total assets were VND 2,120,142,963,374, with current assets at VND 896,398,146,816.

The company's liabilities totaled VND 1,834,298,002,265, including short-term borrowings and finance lease liabilities of VND 616,106,661,474. Long-term prepaid expenses increased to VND 80,518,188,006. These strategic financial adjustments highlight POT’s efforts to optimize its operational efficiency and financial structure, contributing to robust profitability despite a challenging revenue environment.
