Petrovietnam Securities reports 467% surge in Q3 2025 pre-tax profit

Petrovietnam Securities Incorporated reported a pre-tax profit of VND 24,793,795,640 for Q3 2025, marking a significant increase of 467% compared to Q3 2024. This notable growth was primarily fueled by a 59% rise in total revenue, which reached VND 134,604,878,073 in Q3 2025.

The revenue surge was broadly distributed, with gains from financial assets at fair value through profit and loss (FVTPL), held-to-maturity (HTM) investments, securities custodian services, and other operating activities contributing to the strong performance. However, total expenses also saw an increase of 37% year-over-year, reaching VND 109,811,082,433 in Q3 2025. This was mainly due to losses from financial assets at FVTPL, increased expenses for brokerage services, financial advisory services, and interest costs.

The company's basic earnings per share for Q3 2025 stood at VND 336, a substantial rise from VND 71 in Q3 2024. As of September 30, 2025, the company had 136 employees and 59,841,300 ordinary shares with voting rights outstanding.
