Cotana Group's Q3 2025 profit drops sharply on reduced dividend income

Cotana Group Joint Stock Company recorded a profit after tax of VND 1,181,714,763 for Q3 2025, a substantial reduction from VND 68,124,470,550 in Q3 2024. This represents a decrease of VND 66,942,755,787. The primary reason for this decline was the receipt of substantial dividends from Cotana Capital Housing Investment and Development Joint Stock Company in Q3 2024, which did not recur in Q3 2025.

Other contributing factors included a decrease in gross profit from sales and services, which fell from VND 4,210,117,300 in Q3 2024 to VND 2,683,236,793 in Q3 2025. Financial income also saw a sharp drop from VND 65,148,865,999 to VND 147,937,098. Conversely, financial expenses increased from a negative VND 1,539,563,118 to VND 214,838,886, while general and administrative expenses decreased from VND 2,370,651,965 to VND 1,098,493,936.

The company's accumulated profit after tax for the first nine months of 2025 was VND 27,144,969,383, down from VND 68,781,445,470 in the same period of 2024.
