Phuong Nam education reports profit decline in Q3 2025

Phuong Nam Education Investment and Development Joint Stock Company (SED) has announced its third quarter 2025 financial results, revealing a substantial decrease in after-tax profit. Compared to the same period in 2024, the company's after-tax profit for Q3 2025 fell by more than 10%. This decline is primarily attributed to a 38% reduction in revenue during the third quarter of 2025 compared to Q3 2024.

For the nine months ended September 30, 2025, total assets reached 746,140,966,087, an increase from 607,018,318,386 at the beginning of the year. Short-term assets were 651,168,718,333, with cash and cash equivalents totaling 114,910,188,381. Liabilities amounted to 395,274,572,891, while equity stood at 350,866,393,196.

Total revenue from sales and service provision for Q3 2025 was 267,162,277,644, down from 428,581,592,079 in Q3 2024. Financial expenses for Q3 2025 were 637,407,959, lower than 3,500,000,000 in Q3 2024. Profit after tax for the nine-month period ending September 30, 2025, was 35,541,200,862, compared to 60,985,587,287 for the same period last year.
