GCL Group swings to loss in Q3 2025 as revenue plummets

GCL Group Joint Stock Company reported a net loss after corporate income tax of VND 181,528,212 in Q3 2025, a significant decline from the VND 1,766,056,109 profit in Q3 2024. This represents a decrease of 110.28% in profit after tax. The company's total assets stood at VND 77,039,894,714 as of September 30, 2025, a slight decrease from VND 78,244,717,586 at the beginning of the year.

The primary drivers of this downturn include a sharp decrease in sales and service revenue, which fell by VND 14,591,310,013 (93.69%) to VND 982,206,200 in Q3 2025 from VND 15,573,516,213 in Q3 2024. Concurrently, business management expenses increased by VND 1,311,954,535, impacting overall profitability.

Despite the negative profit trend, the company’s owner’s contributed capital remained stable at VND 75,969,810,000. Undistributed profits, however, declined from VND 1,327,146,101 at the end of the previous year to VND 331,779,714 as of September 30, 2025.
