Can Tho Pesticides reports Q3 profit decline, assets shrink

Can Tho Pesticides Joint Stock Company (HNX:CPC) has announced its financial results for the third quarter of 2025, reporting a total after-tax profit of VND 460,556,569 for the quarter. This represents a decrease from the VND 498,771,781 reported in Q3 2024. However, the accumulated after-tax profit for the first nine months of 2025 reached VND 6,380,537,124, a notable decrease from VND 8,812,738,893 recorded in the same period of 2024. Basic earnings per share for Q3 2025 stood at VND 113, down from VND 122 in Q3 2024.

Total assets for the company were recorded at VND 110,241,876,236 as of September 30, 2025, a reduction from VND 123,226,129,620 at the beginning of the year. Current assets decreased to VND 92,363,759,421 from VND 103,827,205,904, while non-current assets also saw a decline to VND 17,878,116,815 from VND 19,398,923,716. Liabilities totaled VND 26,752,103,890, a decrease from VND 36,929,168,418 at the start of the year.

The company's equity also decreased from VND 86,296,961,202 to VND 83,489,772,346 during the period. Short-term borrowings and financial leases increased significantly to VND 14,487,188,601 from VND 6,093,936,048 at the beginning of the year.
