Southwest PetroVietnam Fertilizers reports sharp profit decline in Q3 2025

Southwest PetroVietnam Fertilizers and Chemicals Joint Stock Company (PSW) reported a substantial decrease in its after-tax profit for the third quarter of 2025, falling by 34.56% to VND 2,557,436,277 from VND 3,908,032,564 in Q3 2024. Profit before tax also saw a significant decline of 35.25%, dropping to VND 3,196,795,346 from VND 4,937,289,623 in the same period last year.

The company's gross profit from sales and services rendered for Q3 2025 was VND 15,638,691,023, a decrease of 7.93% compared to VND 16,985,443,844 in Q3 2024. Conversely, selling expenses and general and administration expenses increased by 4.48% to VND 13,000,675,505 from VND 12,443,353,734 in the prior year's third quarter.

The company stated that the decline in after-tax profit for Q3 2025 was primarily due to a reduction in gross profit from sales and service provision.
