Ninh Binh Thermal Power reduces Q3 2025 net loss to VND 1.25bn

Ninh Binh Thermal Power Joint Stock Company (NBP) reported a net loss of VND 1,256.75 million in the third quarter of 2025, a substantial improvement from the VND 7,176.26 million loss recorded in the same period of 2024. This positive change represents a decrease in loss of VND 5,919.51 million year-over-year.

The company attributed the improved financial performance primarily to efforts in reducing various cash expenses. These include savings in areas such as travel, conferences, and materials utilized in boiler and machinery maintenance activities.

Despite the reduced loss, Ninh Binh Thermal Power noted that the Q3 2025 loss was mainly due to the separation of generating units for scheduled maintenance, which began on August 15, 2025. This maintenance led to a decrease in fixed revenue for August and September, impacting overall income for the quarter. The company will submit this report to the Stock Exchange, investors, and shareholders.
