SCI E&C reports sharp profit rise in Q3 2025

SCI E&C Joint Stock Company (HNX:SCI) announced its Q3 2025 financial results, with after-tax profit increasing by 1,199.99% to VND 7,835,946,338. This significant growth is attributed to new project constructions leading to a decrease in revenue and cost of goods sold, with a differing rate of decline between the two, resulting in increased gross profit. Financial income also rose due to foreign exchange differences from overseas construction activities, while financial expenses decreased due to reduced loan principals.

Other profits decreased compared to Q3 2024, when the company recorded income from the reversal of warranty provisions. Total assets as of September 30, 2025, were VND 1,451,795,003,942, down from VND 1,607,237,431,588 at the beginning of the year. The company's total liabilities as of September 30, 2025, were VND 962,344,009,800.

The company also disclosed several significant transactions, including joint venture agreements and EPC contracts for the Nam Mo 2 Hydropower Project, Nam Sam 3A Hydropower Project, Nam Mo 1 Hydropower Project, and Huong Phung 1 Wind Power Plant. These transactions highlight SCI E&C's ongoing construction activities and strategic investments.
